Just when it looked like Ramona and Annie were finally finding their rhythm as sisters, the show throws Connor into the mix as a genuine wildcard. His plan to sell the island for $22.7 million is the kind of development that instantly reshuffles every relationship on screen, and I’d expect it to be the engine driving conflict for at least the next few episodes. The girls clearly aren’t going along with it quietly, and that resistance is where I think the real drama is headed.
Then there’s the slow-burn thread between Oona and Ramona, which I have a feeling is building toward an eventual hookup before the season wraps. The near-kiss here felt like a deliberate tease rather than a one-off moment, and Ramona’s reaction to seeing Oona’s date walk in confirmed just how much she’s caught off guard by her own feelings.
