He wants out of his job, plain and simple, because he’s tired of playing office politics that were never really his game to begin with. He tells her he wants to take a step back and actually go find something he’s passionate about, instead of just going through the motions.
You can feel Ji-yoon’s conflict immediately. As his colleague, part of her wants him to stick around, but as the person who cares about him most, she knows she has to support whatever he decides. She ends up bringing it to his father, who tells her something that says a lot about Si-woo’s character: he always gives everything he’s got before he walks away from anything. On the ride home, Ji-yoon promises to help him figure out his next steps, though she’s honest with him, she doesn’t think the office is going to take this news well at all.

As Manager Ko is shown the door, he can’t resist getting a few last snide remarks in at Si-woo. Si-woo doesn’t bite, he just tells him that honestly, they both deserved better bosses than what they got. A quiet mic drop, if you ask me.
Back home, Hye-kyung starts wondering if Si-woo might be a good match for her daughter, but Young-mok keeps that particular truth to himself. Naturally, Hye-kyung decides to investigate this on her own.
Meanwhile, at Saeum, Si-woo has to break more bad news, the task force is being disbanded. Kee-tae and Na-ri are clearly upset by the announcement.
The Blind Date Twist
Later, Ji-yoon’s mother calls to set her up on yet another blind date. Ji-yoon goes to turn the guy down in person, except when she gets there, it’s Si-woo sitting at the table. Turns out he thought he was meeting Hye-kyung for a completely different reason. Awkward doesn’t begin to cover it, and they both agree it’s finally time to come clean to her mom about their relationship.
Elsewhere, No-ah isn’t ready to give up on Jae-in. She tracks him down and asks him to reconsider ending things. He opens up about moving around constantly as a kid, and how now that he’s finally found a place that feels like home, he can’t uproot himself again, and he doesn’t think he can handle a long-distance relationship either. After she leaves, though, his friend tells him not to end things before he absolutely has to.
Ji-yoon’s Mom Says No
Ji-yoon takes her mother out to lunch to tell her the truth about Si-woo. It doesn’t go well. The second her mom finds out he’s divorced, she shuts the conversation down and refuses to give her blessing. That night, Ji-yoon vents to Si-woo about it, and he comforts her, telling her they’ll handle it one step at a time. No panic, no drama, just steady reassurance.
The next morning, Noh Jin-chul shows up at Si-woo’s gym trying to smooth things over with a golf invite. Si-woo shuts him down flat.
Back at the office, Kee-tae tells Si-woo he wants to follow him to whatever team he’s headed to next. Si-woo tells him he’s actually resigning, and instead suggests Kee-tae join the development team, since it genuinely suits his talents. Ji-yoon, meanwhile, goes back to her original product planning team and even starts mentoring a new hire. When Si-woo meets the new team, he makes it very clear, upfront, that Ji-yoon already has a boyfriend. No ambiguity there.
In an attempt to charm Hye-kyung, Si-woo starts sending her care packages full of vitamins and health supplements.
Do No-ah And Jae-in Get Back Together?
Yes, and it’s set in motion when Jae-in starts replaying a conversation in his head, one where No-ah told him early on that she’d always put herself first in their relationship. That same evening, No-ah runs into Goo-won waiting for her on her way home. He tells her he’s planning to break up with his girlfriend because he wants to be with her, and he won’t let go of her even as she tells him to.
That’s when Jae-in steps in and physically pushes Goo-won off her. No-ah makes it unmistakably clear that she loves Jae-in, and she threatens to call the police if Goo-won ever shows up again. Once he’s gone, Jae-in agrees to keep dating her, as long as she’s still willing to let go the moment it stops working. She agrees, and they reconcile. It’s a nice callback, honestly, since it mirrors the exact conditions she laid out for him on the day they first started dating.
Does Si-woo Win Over Ji-yoon’s Mother?
The next day, Hye-kyung shows up at the repair shop and finds Si-woo there. While he’s fixing her rice cooker, he tells her straight up that he’s been sending all those supplements because he genuinely wants the people he cares about to stay healthy. It works, she starts to come around, and Ji-yoon and Young-mok join them shortly after.
But then it comes out that Si-woo is quitting his high-paying job at Saeum, and Hye-kyung does a complete 180 all over again. Ji-yoon steps in and tells her mother just how much she cares about him, and Hye-kyung softens, if only a little.
Does Si-woo Actually Quit His Job?
He does. While walking with Ji-yoon, he tells her the next day will be his last at Saeum, he’s filing his resignation and using up his remaining paid leave to close things out.
The next day, he follows through, handing President Han a flash drive as a parting gift of sorts. A flashback reveals that Jeong Hyeon-u had given it to him earlier, and it contains proof that Noh Jin-chul and Manager Ko were taking bribes to push certain products. Even more damning, the data implicates Saeum’s vice president. President Han now has more than enough to launch a full investigation and take them all down.
Si-woo finishes signing his paperwork and starts packing up his desk. His team surprises him with a farewell party in the product showroom. They reflect on how far he’s come, no longer the “Three-No-Man” he used to be — and he thanks each of them for their hard work.
The Emotional Send-Off
We then get a quiet shot of Si-woo lying on his apartment floor, just soaking in the sunlight. Cut to Ji-yoon, who’s dealing with the new hire’s botched report. While talking him through his mistakes, she starts listing off everything Si-woo taught her, and ends up crying. It’s a small scene, but it hits.
She heads over to his place afterward with a bouquet of flowers to celebrate his “graduation” from Saeum. He responds by kissing her.
Do Hye-kyung And Young-mok Get A Divorce?
No, Young-mok finally makes things right. Over dinner and wine at the repair shop, he tells her just how much he loves her, saying he wants to be by her side until her deathbed and that he only wants to outlive her by a single day. It’s enough to win her over completely, again.
Meanwhile, Sung-min gets a visit from No-ah’s sister, Da-ra, who’s been interviewing office couples. She says she wants to write a story about people who manage to balance their careers and their love lives without sacrificing either, a clear mirror of what this whole show has been about.
Now that Young-mok’s going to spend more time with his wife, he asks Si-woo to look after the repair shop while he figures out his next chapter.
Elsewhere, No-ah boards her flight to Senegal and is surprised to find Jae-in already on the plane, he’s decided to escort her there himself, and she’s thrilled.
Some time later, Ji-yoon meets Si-woo at the repair shop for dinner, and they catch each other up on their day.

A flash-forward jumps six months ahead. Si-woo has started something of his own, a start-up called See You Tomorrow, working in automobile audio technology.

Yes! The same flash-forward confirms she’s been promoted to a managerial position. She’s now heading up the newly revived Future Household Appliances Task Force, with Kee-tae and Na-ri back on her team.
How Does See You At Work Tomorrow End? Do Ji-yoon And Si-woo Get Married?
The finale closes with Ji-yoon meeting Si-woo after work for a walk. She trips, and he catches her, mirroring the very first night they spent together. He pulls out a ring and proposes. She says no… and then pulls out a small box of her own to propose to him instead.
They exchange rings while admitting that with how busy things still are, they honestly have no idea when the wedding will happen. The series ends with the two of them walking down the street, musing about how they can be head over heels in love and still have to clock into work the next morning.
See You At Work Tomorrow Finale Review: A Sweet, Satisfying Send-Off (With A Few Loose Threads)
Episode 12 is a solid finale that ties up most of its storylines with genuine sentimentality and moments of real charm. Watching Manager Ko get fired and Noh Jin-chul land himself in hot water with President Han felt deeply satisfying, these two spent the whole show making Si-woo’s life miserable, so seeing consequences finally catch up to them was a small but real win.
Si-woo’s decision to walk away from office politics for good tracks well with everything we’ve seen from him in the last few episodes, including that conversation with his father about always giving his all before deciding to quit. My only real gripe here is that I wanted more. We get almost nothing about the actual start-up itself, or why he specifically chose automobile audio technology of all industries. It’s a fun detail, but it’s dropped in without much context.
Ji-yoon, on the other hand, gets exactly the ending she deserves. That managerial title feels earned after everything she’s been through this season, and putting her at the head of the newly revived task force, with Kee-tae and Na-ri along for the ride, is a genuinely nice full-circle moment for her arc.
As for the side couples, No-ah and Jae-in’s reunion strikes a nice balance between romantic and realistic. Jae-in’s conditions for getting back together acknowledge something the show gets right: long distance really is harder than it looks on paper, and their compromise feels earned rather than convenient. And then there’s Young-mok finally opening up to Hye-kyung, for me, that’s one of the sweetest scenes in the entire series. Simple, sincere, no dramatics needed.
If I’m being picky, the show does lean a little too self-referential toward the end. Da-ra’s plan to write a story about people balancing work and love is basically the show explaining its own thesis out loud, and naming Si-woo’s start-up “See You Tomorrow”, despite it having zero connection to audio technology, feels like a wink that’s maybe one nudge too many.
And yes, the pacing here is just as unhurried as it’s been all series. But that slowness pays off in the end. This finale finds genuine warmth in ordinary, everyday moments, and honestly, it sticks the landing.
