A Marissa Stapley bestseller adaptation set across Las Vegas, Nevada, and Southern California, mostly shot exactly where the story says it is, with a Long Beach coastline standing in for the show’s La Jolla stretch.
Vegas to the Coast: Lucky’s Real Shoot Map
Caesars Palace, Las Vegas

Context in the Drama: Doubles as the Las Vegas hotel from Episode 1, the room where Cary drugs Lucky and disappears with the money, the casino floor, and the rooftop champagne toast right before everything falls apart.
Exact Address & Location Link: Caesars Palace, 3570 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109 View on Google Maps
Traveler’s Note: Anya Taylor-Joy has confirmed filming inside Caesars Palace overnight for the show. The Strip’s rooftop views were specifically used for a sequence where Lucky runs across rooftops while being chased. A fully public, operating casino resort, walk right in.
The Promenade, Downtown Long Beach

Context in the Drama: The site of the show’s dramatic downtown car chase sequence, spotted in the official trailer.
Exact Address & Location Link: The Promenade, between 3rd Street and 5th Street, Long Beach, CA View on Google Maps
Traveler’s Note: Film permits obtained by the Long Beach Post revealed the production shot at nearly a dozen locations across the city, including multiple scenes along this stretch in April and May, with mock “San Diego Police Department” cruisers staged nearby for a filmed crash. A public pedestrian corridor, easy to walk end to end.
Golden Sails Hotel
Context in the Drama: One of the Long Beach coastal properties used in the production, in keeping with the show’s stretches of Lucky moving through Southern California beach towns.
Exact Address & Location Link: Golden Sails Hotel, 6285 E Pacific Coast Hwy, Long Beach, CA 90803 View on Google Maps
Traveler’s Note: Crews filmed multiple scenes here as part of the Long Beach shoot. A working marina-front hotel, bookable, or visitable just for the grounds.
Boathouse on the Bay
Context in the Drama: A confirmed Long Beach production site, fitting the show’s recurring beachfront, marina-adjacent settings.
Exact Address & Location Link: Boathouse on the Bay, 190 N Marina Dr, Long Beach, CA 90803 View on Google Maps
Traveler’s Note: An upscale, fully operating seafood restaurant on Alamitos Bay. Reservations recommended, especially for the water-view tables.
Belmont Shore Beach
Context in the Drama: Another confirmed Long Beach shoot site, part of the same coastal stretch used for the show’s beach house and escape sequences.
Exact Address & Location Link: Belmont Shore Beach, between 54th Place and 55th Place, Long Beach, CA View on Google Maps
Traveler’s Note: A free public beach with metered street parking along Ocean Boulevard.
Big Sky Movie Ranch, Simi Valley

Context in the Drama: The wide, isolating open terrain used for Lucky’s desert escape sequences, the empty highways and open sky that define her stretches on the run.
Exact Address & Location Link: Big Sky Movie Ranch, 4927 Bennett Rd, Simi Valley, CA 93063 View on Google Maps
Traveler’s Note: The ranch’s rolling hills and cinematic desert-like scenery are used to reinforce isolation and tension during key outdoor sequences. A private working movie ranch, visits are by organized tour or event booking, not a walk-up destination.
Piru, California

Context in the Drama: The small-town streets Lucky passes through in her stretches on the run, quiet, low-rise, and deliberately anonymous.
Exact Address & Location Link: Center Street, Piru, CA 93040 View on Google Maps
Traveler’s Note: Specific filming took place at 3956 Center Street, which doubled as a pet store in the series, with additional scenes shot at Center Street and Via Fustero for a location the show calls “Eve’s.” The town’s wide streets and low-rise buildings are frequently used by filmmakers because it can pass for many places across the United States. A small, real residential community, respectful, low-key visits only.
Loyal Studios, Burbank (Interior Sets)
Context in the Drama: Where several of the show’s interior sets were built from scratch rather than shot on location.
Exact Address & Location Link: Loyal Studios, Burbank, CA View on Google Maps
Traveler’s Note: Interior sets, including a standing restaurant set and a character apartment, were constructed here, giving the production full control over lighting and camera movement. A working studio facility, not open to the public.
Plan Your Lucky Location Tour
Vegas makes an obvious opening stop if you’re planning around the show, Caesars Palace is a proper destination in its own right, and the Strip views used for that rooftop chase are visible from plenty of public vantage points. From there, the natural move is Southern California, where Long Beach alone can fill a full day: The Promenade, Golden Sails Hotel, Boathouse on the Bay, and Belmont Shore Beach all sit within a short drive of each other along the coast.
If you’ve got an extra day, Piru and Simi Valley make a worthwhile detour inland, about an hour north of Los Angeles, to see where the show’s desert stretches actually came from. Just keep in mind that Big Sky Movie Ranch is private property with no walk-up access, and Piru’s filming spots are real, occupied storefronts on residential streets, so a slow drive-through beats getting out to look for “the pet store.” Loyal Studios in Burbank rounds out the list for completeness, but it’s a working facility, not a tour stop, worth knowing about, not worth the trip.
