Thailand, One Month Earlier: Pasin’s Nightmare Begins

One month before the present timeline, Pasin and his son Atti are in Thailand, praying together for Pasin’s late wife. It’s a quiet, human moment, and it doesn’t last. They threaten Atti right in front of him, and Pasin does the only thing any parent would do: he hands himself over.
Jin-man Heads to Thailand to Find Him
Back in the present, Jin-man and Ji-an go over emails from their mole inside Babylon. Jin-man decides he’s going to Thailand himself and asks the mole to dig up everything on Pasin’s kidnappers and Atti’s whereabouts. Before he leaves, he repeats something he’s told Ji-an before, if she ever loses an arm, she needs to focus on saving the one she has left. It’s a small line, but it hangs over the whole episode.
Once he lands, Jin-man tracks down a locker Pasin had mentioned, and inside is a device with coordinates pointing to an internet cafe. He’s barely settled at a computer before the lights cut out and a group of sword-wielding men pour in. Jin-man handles them, because of course he does, but as he’s walking out, two gunmen tase him from behind, and another man finishes the job by knocking him out cold.
Pasin Arrives at Murthehelp, Wounded and Full of Secrets
Meanwhile, a badly wounded Pasin shows up at Murthehelp’s door and collapses. A flashback fills in the gap: Kusanagi had him tortured, kidnapped Atti, shot him in the abdomen, and planted a bug inside his body before closing the wound. When Pasin wakes up, he tells the others he got a message from Jin-man twelve hours ago revealing Atti’s location, and that Jin-man told him to head to South Korea. Cheol-seung checks the code and confirms, yes, this really did come from their mole.
The Mall, the Necklace, and a Very Suspicious Warehouse Worker
Pasin joins Jin-woo on a walkthrough of the mall, clocking every security measure along the way. In the warehouse section, which fronts as a civilian-run operation, a worker slips Pasin a box and drops a hint that she’s Babylon. Inside is a necklace identical to his own, except this one has a tiny camera built in. Through it, Babylon starts quietly mapping out the entire building while Kusanagi watches from the other end. She’s interrupted by Attorney Jang, who wants to know if the bus accident that killed several Babylon employees needs investigating. Her answer is short: the internal audit team is already on it.
Jin-man Meets Jo Seong-gu
Back in Thailand, Jin-man wakes up hanging from the ceiling in a stripped-down room. His captor is Jo Seong-gu, a Babylon team leader exiled to Thailand after the fallout from Jin-man’s Season 1 rampage. At Murthehelp, Pasin pushes to check the mole’s tip on Atti’s location himself, and Ji-an tells him to bring Min-hye along.
Kusanagi’s Real Plan Comes Into Focus
At Babylon, Kusanagi and K brief Q’s team on the mall’s layout. Kusanagi’s plan is chilling in its simplicity: Pasin will kill Min-hye, clearing the way for Q to take over Murthehelp. Even stranger, she tells Q that Babylon Thailand is still “searching” for Jin-man — a lie, K points out, meant purely to keep Q motivated to go after Ji-an.
Jin-man’s Bloody Escape
Jin-man breaks free of his restraints, takes out every one of Seong-gu’s men, and forces Seong-gu to give up Atti’s location before killing him. But when he finally climbs out of the underground bunker, he’s not in a city or a safehouse, he’s in the middle of a forest, with no idea where to go next.
Pasin’s Betrayal: The Bridge Scene
This is where the episode turns brutal. Pasin and Min-hye reach the building where they believe Atti is being held. Pasin tells her to wait for his signal and heads in alone, except he comes back driving a white truck, forces Min-hye’s car to the edge of a bridge, and when she fights back, shoots at her and sends her plunging into the water below.
The Mole Reveal Blows Everything Open
Back at Murthehelp, Q’s team is prepping an ambush while, at Babylon, K reveals that his hackers are the ones who’ve been intercepting Jin-man’s messages to the mole this whole time. Kusanagi is furious to learn Jin-man got away. Then Cheol-seung gets another supposed message from the mole about Jin-man’s location, but Ji-an notices something off in the subject line, a detail missing from every email over the past week. It clicks: Babylon found their mole. Digging into the real mole’s hidden symbol, they uncover a warning buried in the code, Pasin might be working for the other side.
That’s exactly when Pasin walks through the door.
He takes Ji-an down and injects her with something before Cheol-seung manages to interrupt, buying her just enough time to inject herself with a counteragent and stay conscious. Outside, Pasin knocks Cheol-seung out and plugs a flash drive into the system, handing K’s hackers full access and taking Murthehelp’s network offline. Ji-an rushes to get Brother out, but Pasin catches them, he shoots Brother in the leg and ties Ji-an’s hands. Kusanagi, delighted with how things are going, gives Q the order to kill Pasin the moment she has Ji-an in hand. The episode closes on Kusanagi shaking hands with Seong-beom, a handshake that promises nothing good.
A Shop for Killers Season 2 Episode 6 Review: Pasin’s Double-Cross Is the Season’s Best Gut-Punch Yet
Episode 6 does something this season has been circling for a while, it brings Pasin all the way back into the story, and then immediately breaks him in front of us. Watching him work against Ji-an and the rest of the Murthehelp family is genuinely painful, and Kim Min sells every second of Pasin’s conflict without tipping the show’s hand too early. My one nitpick: giving him that camera necklace from the start, rather than mid-episode, would have made his infiltration feel a little less convenient.
What really works here is the slow-burn tension of the double-agent reveal. The show lets things simmer, Pasin acting slightly off, Ji-an and Cheol-seung too preoccupied to notice, until it finally snaps. By the time Pasin turns on them, it lands with real weight precisely because we saw it coming just seconds before Ji-an did. The Seong-beom handshake at the very end is a nice final twist to send you into the next episode already anxious.
The action holds up too. Pasin’s Thailand flashback packs a punch, and Jin-man’s solo escape from Seong-gu’s bunker is a genuine highlight, there’s something almost gleeful about how the show shoots him picking off enemies in the dark. That said, it’s a little disappointing we don’t actually get to watch him dismantle the sword-wielding crew at the internet cafe; that felt like a fight worth seeing in full.
Where the episode stumbles is the mole subplot itself. Dropping a reveal this significant, an active informant inside Babylon, this late into the season feels like a structural misstep. There’s also a nagging logic gap: if Jin-man has had a mole feeding him intel all along, why didn’t he see the shipping yard attack coming? The rest of the episode moves its pieces around the board with real confidence, but the mole thread needed to be woven in far earlier for this twist to hit as hard as it should have.
